Shungite is a natural mineral stone found in the Karelian region of Russia. It is said to be 2 millon years old. It was in 1996, scientists were awarded 'The Noble Prize' for the discovery of fullerenes within the stone, hence the name 'Elite Noble Shungite' The fullerene content determine its healing properties. There are 3 types of shungite. (Type 1 98% Carbon, silvery shine), (Type II 50-70 % Carbon, occurs as a black mineral), (Type III 30-50 % Carbon, more grey in colour)

Shungite is being increasingly used for EMF protection, water detoxification and can be used for healing and chakra balancing. It is known as the Miracle Stone and acts as a natural antioxidant, immune booster, pain reliever and allergen supressant.
